The Titan-C is a belt-fed, pulse action medium machine gun (MMG) chambered in 7x47mm CRC for usage in laying down large amounts of suppressive fire on the field.

Brought into use in 2101, the design was based on early and mid-21st century MMGs, with additional technology retrofitted into the weapon to make it viable for use in hostile environments. Its alloy casing is rated to withstand corrosion and radiation, and its inbuilt gyroscopic stabilizers allow it to keep at much higher accuracy than similar MMGs of its class.

Ammunition

The Titan-C is chambered in 7x47mm and fires a modified M74TR steel-jacketed 155-grain projectile at 3,250 mph with a red tracer tip for more effective visual during space combat.

The Titan-C fires from a 120-round belt-fed detachable magazine.

Features

The Titan-C boasts several attachments and key features in its design:

  • A padded stock,
  • A 4x magnification telescopic sight,
  • A spike-footed bipod,
  • A carrying handle,
  • A gyroscopic stabilizer to mitigate recoil,
  • And a pulse-action variable-rate fire control system.
